Welcome to LovemoreKids

LovemoreKids was born out of the owner, Marieke van Staden’s burning desire to be with her children - and at the same time offer them the best possible educational day care. Marieke took a leap of faith, resigned from her former employer and started working towards making her dream a reality which resulted in the founding of LovemoreKids in 2008 - an exclusive baby centre and toddler playschool unlike any other in Port Elizabeth.

Marieke holds an Honours degree in Psychology and is the mom of two young children, Mieke and Stèphan.

At LovemoreKids every effort is made to
ensure that each child is cared for with passion. All caregivers at LovemoreKids are experienced mothers and have a passion for working with children - understanding the needs and requirements of both parent and child.

LovemoreKids is Christian-based and value all relationships - between children, parents, staff and all that forms part of this “extended family”. At LovemoreKids it is of the utmost importance that the children feel loved and enjoy a memorable time, through balancing physical activities, mental stimulation and essential sleep time.

Nutritional meals, snacks and juice are provided throughout the day.

First Enrolments

The Curriculum

LovemoreKids follows a structured curriculum with annual assessments - this ensures that all developmental milestones are met and that all the young LovemoreKids “graduates” are ready to start their formal school career with confidence.

Our curriculum consists out of 39 different themes. Each theme contains lessons and activities for the 2 – 5 year olds which are aligned to the subjects and content, concepts and skills for the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) with integration for Grade R.
